The majority of schools and nursery schools in Prague 7 will be holding open houses ahead of enrolment of new children in March and April, but some can already be visited now. More information on the Prague 7 website.

Since 2017, when Prague 7 implemented a „Zone 30“ speed limit on most roads, the number of accidents involving a pedestrian has fallen by over half. Last year no pedestrians were seriously injured here.

Prague 7 residents with a parking permit for blue zones can park in Centrum Stromovka for CZK 20 a night (8pm–8am). In order to receive a parking card, which is tied to the vehicle’s licence plate, proof of a parking permit from the municipal district must be presented to the shopping centre administration. Prague 7 has obtained access to the building in the courtyard of Veverkova 10, which housed a secret monitoring division of the political police StB. It could establish a school or pre-school there. www.praha7.cz
